Getting started with Seedr
Seedr is a cloud-fetch service: you give it a link, it fetches the files to your private cloud storage, and you stream or download them from any device. There is no software to install. This guide gets you from sign-up to your first stream.
1. Create your account
Sign up with an email address and password, or use a social login. A free account comes with a starter amount of storage so you can try Seedr right away; paid plans add space, faster fetching, and WebDAV access.
2. Fetch your first file
On your dashboard you will see a box to add content. Paste a magnet link (or upload a .torrent file) and press Add. Seedr's servers connect to the swarm and fetch the data for you - you do not need to keep a window open or stay connected.
3. Stream or download
When the fetch finishes, the files appear in your file manager. Click a video or audio file to stream it in the browser - seeking and subtitles included - or download it over HTTPS to keep a local copy.
Next steps
Connect Seedr to Plex or Kodi over WebDAV to build a media library you can watch on your TV.
Organise your files into folders to keep large libraries tidy.
Check your storage usage in settings and upgrade if you need more space.
